How not to use “inspiration”
Another post from my trip to our nation's capital. While touring the National Museum of American History, I saw a book from the so-called atomic age called "Our Friend the Atom". The cover looked incredibly familiar to me. So I took this picture of it and resolved to figure out where I knew it from.
When I returned home I quickly found the source on page 126 of LogoLounge 2. The second image comes from that book, and is listed as a logo designed for Coke. Now then, I'm not sure who designed the former, and I'm not gonna say who "designed" the latter, but suffice it to say that he's worked for some pretty big name clients. For shame!
