Longtime readers will remember that in June I went to Washington, D.C., on vacation. I've already posted some of the photos from my trip, including this, this and this. Now, after too long a delay, I present images from my visit to the National Cathedral. According to its website, the Cathedral is “a spiritual resource for our nation: a great and beautiful edifice in the city of Washington, an indispensable ministry for people of all faiths and perspectives, and a sacred place for our country in times of celebration, crisis, and sorrow. Generous friends, members, and donors around the world support our mission.” The Cathedral is an architectural joy to behold, complete with beautiful statuary, lighting and stained glass windows. Enjoy!
