Generation Green Couture is a locally-owned clothing designer that specializes in environmentally sustainable manufacturing and uses the lost art of making clothes by hand to help raise money for important social causes.
Brock Ray Creative teamed with Generation Green Couture to market their October 2009 fundraiser, The Pink Stitcher’s Circle, where participants hand-sewed a uniquely designed t-shirt using new and recycled materials. A portion of the evening’s proceeds were donated to Susan G. Komen Twin Cities, and went to fund breast cancer awareness, screening and research. In addition to the stitching workshop, the event included presentations by Mary Lechner, M.D., Medical Director, Breast Imaging for CDI, and Karen Heuchert, Events Director, Susan G. Komen for The Cure.
As part of this successful event, Brock Ray Creative developed a comprehensive marketing program that included logo and visual branding, “Save the Date” postcards, an online registration site, an email marketing campaign, event signage, placement on social media sites, and a robust public relations effort that resulted in placements in the Star Tribune and other local media.
According to Generation Green Couture owner Jeannine Cavallo, “Brock is ‘The Man’. He is talented, easy to work with, professional, timely and cost effective. He has saved me a lot of time and money. I highly recommend him for his marketing and design solutions.”
