Recently, my aunt gave me a box full of old vinyl records that she no longer wanted. Her tastes, as it turns out, are quite eclectic, and I discovered that many of the albums had some truly wonderful cover art. This is an art form that, unfortunately, just doesn't tend to exist today. I mean, really, when was the last time you even bought a CD, let alone a big ole vinyl record?

Last week I returned from a week-long trip to Washington, D.C., where I took some time to explore several of the museums in the Smithsonian Institute, as well as some other local highlights.
